Plans for magazine

I have used photos which are not mine to show what kind of look I will be aiming for when taking these photos. I will be using the layout and the text from these plans as I have created these myself. The colour scheme will also be used in my final product

Front Cover

This is the image I will be aiming my photo to look like. I like the way they have used the lether jacket, the slicked back hair and the sunglasses. They all fit in with the alternative rock music genre and they make him look cool. I also like how he is smoking a cigerette, this makes him look even cooler and it makes him look like he doenst care what peoplke think of him. The whole look makes him look rebel like, which is the look I want for my magazine. I want my magazine seem different and against the norm.
This is also a basic version of the layout of the front cover. I will be making changes to where things are, the colours, ect. But I will be keeping the three same colours througout the page and the rest of the magazine.  

Contents Page 

All these images will be my insperation for my photos which I will be taking. I will not be able to get the same as these, but I don't want to. I want to make mine to look different to other magazines, I want it to have attitude. Again in these images, all the people in them fit in with the alternative rock genre, basicly with how they look. Their clothing and their hair all fits in and I am going to be using these as insperation.
The layout of this mock-up will basicly be the same as I am very happy with how it has turned out. All I will need to do is take my photos and insert them into the layout.

Double Page Spread

 

I will be using the same model on both the front cover and the double page spread and he will be wearing the same clothing. He still looks cool even with out the sun glasses in this photo. I want that look of not caring what others are thinking in my double page spread. His facial expresion, stance and the way he is flicking the cigerette butt at the camera just screems this.
I will be keeping the layout and the text the same in my final product as I am happy the way it is. The text re-enforces the cool looking image on these pages. It gives the reader an inside to the artist. I have made it so he is as cool as he looks.
